It has never been easier for anyone to sell online and deliver product and services around the globe.  With multiple sales channels and organisational apps, drop-shipping and multiple payment gateways to make buying online easier, eCommerce has never had it so good!

We feel, however, that there is something missing.

 

The slow demise of the high street, the monopolisation by the online marketplaces and the international control of data through social media powerhouses is causing the world to become so globalised that consumers and the supply chain are beginning to forget the balance between global and local need.

Local Communities are being slowly eroded in favour of global chat. We order an item online often without a care of where it comes from. What is the associated carbon footprint to order my "calculator" from China that costs $2 less than if I purchased it by walking to my  local  store?

When the thefullworks was founded, it was all about  building an eCommerce platform to generate revenue - making connections better between other software platforms, procurement systems and global distribution companies more seemless;

 

A platform can be far more than that.

Our Vision is to connect our global clients to local community groups. Community groups such as Bedford Hockey Club, Southend Adult Community College, Scout groups, schools and charities. Allow the local community to raise funds through the support of large corporates purchasing items or donating directly. Corporates are keen to fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility ( CSR) policies and indulge in philanthropy.

The more online stores we can create whether global or local, the more groups are given access to corporate support, the more money can be returned to the people who put the large corporates ther in the first place.

Go Global by all means, but don't forget to support the local community that keeps us all human.
